Mitchell Kanaan is a self-taught visual artist born in Zgharta, Lebanon, and raised between Lebanon and the United States. With an academic background in media, theater, and political science, his practice ultimately found its voice through visual art. His work is rooted in drawing and painting, evolving into a distinctive approach that blends pointillism and naïve art through a self-developed 3D mosaic technique, built through years of experimentation and observation.

Virgins for Sale is a raw and emotional story of love, trust, betrayal, and self-discovery. Set between a small Mediterranean city and the United States in the late 1990s, the book follows a man who enters marriage with hope, devotion, and dreams of building a family, only to find himself facing hidden truths, painful deception, and deep personal loss. Through anger, confusion, faith, and reflection, Mitchell Kanaan tells a personal journey of heartbreak and survival. While questioning love, loyalty, family values, and the strength needed to rise again after being broken.
